What is SQL Connect?
A powerful module that allows Portfolio Server to store data in more robust databases (like Microsoft® SQL Server™, MySQL® or Oracle®), often one that is already in place at your company. It essentially allows you to leverage the advantages that both Portfolio Server and your SQL database can offer.

Benefits of SQL

Ability to build customized workflow solutions
Enhanced stability for large catalogs*
Makes available SQL administration tools, such as auto-backup and reporting*
